Jogo (Jose Gomez) is a singer/songwriter/pianist based in NY. Jogo's songs, "If I Let Myself Go" & "Si Me Dejo Llevar", co-written with Sheree Sano, were recorded by Dionne Warwick & Chuck Jackson on Wave/BMG Records. Evelyn "Champagne" King was the first major artist to record "If I Let Myself Go" on RCA Records.
Jogo is a full voting member of The Grammy's & a member of ASCAP. As an entertainer, he has performed at Carnegie Hall & Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, & has toured extensively throughout North America. Jogo composed the musical score for "Prime-Time", which premiered Off-Broadway at The 78th Street Theatre, NYC. Jogo is on the Board of Governors of the Elmira Little Theatre. He also sings with The Common Time Chorus, The Cantata Singers & is the pianist for The Wesminster Presbyterian Church. He has written & donated many of his songs to "The Songs of Love Foundation". Currently, he's writing a children's book, with music, dealing with tolerance & acceptance! Jogo graduated from The Berklee College of Music, in Boston. He currently performs in the Twin Tiers of NY & PA.
